Image Bank Information
Following each competition any Member receiving 18, 19 or 20 marks, (or in the case of the Annual or Architecture / Travel Competitions) 1st, 2nd or 3rd for an image is requested, in the case of colour or monochrome prints, to email a digital copy to the Image Bank Manager at [email protected] using the image sizing criteria shown under Competition Rules for DPI Competitions AND the following naming convention:
Contributors to this and the Print competitions are asked, please, to send in a DPI image of your print the the Image Bank .
The filename remains unchanged as for DPIs, but we have, hopefully, simplified the Naming Convention to go in the text of the email to which your image file is attached. It is:-
filename - points awarded - Colour or Mono print - Competition & Date
e.g. Doug Harbour_Rubbish Photo 10 CP NSS1 2017
In the naming convention - Competition means: NSS1 (No set subject 1); Themed subject 1 (eg. Book Title); Themed Subject 2 (eg. People); NSS2 (No set subject 2); Annual or Architecture/Travel.
CP = Colour Print, MP = Monochrome Print
Unless a member notifies the club to withhold an image, the Image Bank will be used by the WPC Committee to select images for CCAC or other external competitions, and local battles as published or shown in the WPC Programme.
The Club will retain images for only the current season, and the previous 2 seasons. Images will be deleted at the start of each season in accordance with this rule.
Only images from the previous season will be considered for external competitions and battles during the current season.
Images sent to the Image Bank may be displayed on the Club Website unless a member specifically requests that an image is not to be published.
The Image Bank will be maintained and administrated by a Member of the Club Committee
