Speaker: Ric Gillams - “A Year in Japan”
Bio:
Over the last 20 years I've had the pleasure of photographing a wide range of subjects across the globe and in recent years have enjoyed sharing my passion for travel, wildlife and photography through camera club talks. Website: www.ricgillamsphotography.co.uk
A Year In Japan:
In 2017-2018 I spent a year working in Tokyo and exploring Japan. The seasonal variation is highlighted by the famous cherry blossom in the Spring, the hot humid summers, incredible autumn colours and the snow-covered winter wonderland found in the north of the country. Japan offers a huge diversity of experiences, with beautiful landscapes and wildlife, incredible cultural heritage and magnificent traditional and modern architecture amongst the hustle and bustle of the busy cities. I was very fortunate to be able to plan my trips to visit most of the regions of Japan and experience the different seasons along the way. I look forward to sharing some of the highlights with you.

10th November
Speaker: Tracey Lund - ZOOM “Wildlife Photography”
A selection of images from Alaska, Canada, Yellowstone, India, Zimanga and UK Hides as well as some stories/experiences i encountered along the way.
Bio
I am a photographer from Hull that specialises in Wildlife. My passion for wildlife has taken me around the world and there is nothing I love doing more and I try hard to show that passion through my images. I spend hours in the field and what some people don’t understand is that some feelings you get are priceless…it is a true blessing to be able to take the time to sit and watch wildlife let alone photograph it. Sometimes it’s more important to experience the moment rather than miss it taking photos.
Free for WPC members. Guest tickets: £5 www.ticketsource.co.uk/wallingford-photographic-club/t-ojepdyg

1st December
Speaker: Dave Gibbins – ZOOM “My photography”
"Part 1 looks at the pictures I like to take. I love looking for patterns and this theme runs throughout the talk. The first half looks at early work, trees, doors and windows and, architecture and includes a few audio visual sequences as that is another aspect of photography that I enjoy considerably. The second half shows a selection of the images that gained me my EFIAP/bronze distinction."
