"Walk • Shoot • Pint" - A new idea for summer
The club are introducing a new idea for for summer - Walk • Shoot • Pint - a relaxed local photo walk where we take a stroll, capture some shots, and finish up at a pub for an optional drink and a chat. The plan is simple: Meet at 7:30 PM on a Thursday evening (our usual club night and time) Walk for around an hour or so, exploring the local countryside End up at a pub to unwind and share photos or stories It’s a great way to enjoy the long summer evenings, keep the creat

2025-26 End of Season Competition and Awards
The end of the club season is marked by two key events. Firstly the End of Year Competition which is a little unusual compared with the rest of the season, in that you can re-enter a photograph from earlier in the season a photograph from earlier in the season, so winning in this category is a great accolade. Secondly, in the final meeting of the season a number of Awards and Trophies are resented to members who've supported the club and been successful in the competitions. T

"Wild Eye Wildlife" with Drew Burnett, Thursday 30th April, 2026
Drew Burnett is a fabulous wildlife photographer who sells his images commercially under the banner of "Wild Eye" and the session contains many of his favourite photos as well as a lot of the anecdotes around the challenges and fun to be had trying to photograph wildlife in some of the most desolate parts of the world. Wallingford Club wins 'Intimate Landscapes’ competition, Feb 2026
On 26 February, Wallingford Photographic Club took part, along with 12 other clubs, in the final competition of ‘ Intimate Landscapes ’. This has been held by Tring and brilliantly chaired by the Chair of Tring, Peter Cox.
