The club are introducing a new idea for for summer - Walk • Shoot • Pint - a relaxed local photo walk where we take a stroll, capture some shots, and finish up at a pub for an optional drink and a chat.
The plan is simple:
Meet at 7:30 PM on a Thursday evening (our usual club night and time)
Walk for around an hour or so, exploring the local countryside
End up at a pub to unwind and share photos or stories
It’s a great way to enjoy the long summer evenings, keep the creative energy flowing while the club is on a break, and enjoy some social time together. The idea is to have individual members of the club own one of these evening walks and to choose an area that they know well and so guide us along a route and then pick a friendly hostelry to round the evening off. These are the three dates agreed for this summer:
16th July, Goring & Streatley - David Gristwood
6th August, Cholsey - Andy King
27th August, South Stoke - Bryan Sutton
If you’re interested in attending any of these walks, simply email wallingfordphotoclub@gmail.com and the meeting point and details will be provided closer to the time. You are welcome to attend these walks even if you're not a member - it's a great way to find out more about the club and meet the people.
