The gear does not make the photograph - it’s how it is used that is important
What to expect from the course
Develop your creative, visual and technical skills - including editing
Guidance and support both during and in between sessions
Practical assignments to try out the theory
A community to compare notes and experiences
6 monthly tutored online sessions (first Tuesday of the month)
Course sessions
Image composition – subject, rule of thirds, perspective, leading lines
Understanding the exposure triangle – aperture, shutter speed & ISO
Light intensity & the histogram
Focus & depth of field
Understanding light & the colour wheel
Setting the goal & digital editing
Guided field trips: one day-time and one night-time
The course is designed and led by WPC members and all sessions are live. Sessions are recorded and made available for review
